Discovering the World Through the
Eyes of My Friends

ABSTRACT
Not all of children have the opportunity to travel, visit and discover first-hand different parts of the world. Through this project the children can collaborate with students from other countries. They will make presentations of their countries, they will compare and contrast different holiday traditions, they will send each other holiday e-cards. The final product of the project will be a Padlet containing children's thoughts on what they learned and discovered during the project.

PROCESS
Partners will communicate using E-mail, social media,
Padlet.
-Evaluation will be carried out using checklists for the goals/activities, and by analyzing students' work.
- Examples of activities : Power-point presentation of students in the project; on-line meetings, video conferences with the teachers; On-line Christmas meeting with the children from the countries involved in the project; "This is my country/city" - presentations made by children; Christmas e-cards for my friends"; "Holiday traditions in our country" - PPT made by the students; "What's the same/what's different?" - Venn Diagram to compare and contrast holiday traditions in different countries;
"This is What I saw through my friends' eyes" - poster activity using Padlet.
